Hawke’s Bay War

There’s an underlying rivalry between twin cities Napier & Hastings (and not to mention that Havelock lot!) that dates back generations. We brought the idea to a head through WAR! The campaign stunt rocked newspaper, DM, radio, social media and website blogs. Our own website hawkesbaywar.co.nz, allowed the public to sign up becoming a fully ranked solider and through user posts, people were able to tell the region why their city was the rightful owner to Capital of Hawke’s Bay.
